The International Vintage lighter Exchange was launched in 1994 by our parent company,
Authorized Repair Service, as a means to offer lighter aficionados a way to purchase our
fine selection of unique cigarette and cigar lighters through our website. The Internet gave us the opportunity to display some of our products on a worldwide scale.
A.R.S. has been in business since 1957, specializing in the sales and service of lighters,
writing instruments and electric shavers
The International Vintage Lighter Exchange exists to show, buy, and sell, vintage lighters
worldwide. It also seeks to educate new collectors and share information on the history and
collecting trends of the industry.
Whether you're a new or long time collector, or just curious about what this is all about,
please feel free to look around, ask questions, leave comments, and shop, all on our site. Welcome.

the quality and authenticity of our products. If you encounter a problem or have a specific

We will never sell, trade, share or otherwise misuse personal, credit card or email information you provide. Email addresses are taken only for the purpose of email order and shipment verification. We may only occasionally email you with a special offer--from our company only--that we feel would be something beneficial to you. We have a 100% anti-spam policy, and you may opt-out of receiving any special offers at any time.
For payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover.
Local taxes will be applied to your total balance if you are having your order shipped
within the state of North Carolina only.
Appropriate shipping and handling charges will be applied to your order based upon the
total of your purchase price. Please refer to our shipping & handling chart located below on this page.

HOW TO SHOP AT OUR SITE
- Find the product you are looking for either by follow the links to the various lighter
manufactures and other products, such as "lighter books" OR
- Use our keyword search.
- You can remove an item from your cart at any time.
CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED
For payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
We also now accept PayPal as an alternative to a credit card, however please note that paying using the PayPal service is considered an "e-check" with PayPal, and therefore requires several days to clear before the payment is released.
Orders will NOT be shipped until the PayPal payment is released and confirmed. If you are in need of receiving the merchandise quickly, we highly recommend using a major credit card as outlined above.
RETURN/REFUND POLICY
All sales are on a first come basis. All lighters are sold in working
condition unless otherwise specified.
All sales are final. Items may be returned for exchange only within 10 days of purchase.
There is a $10.00 restocking fee plus the actual shipping charge for all returned merchandise.
A 90-day warranty exists for all vintage lighters that are sold in working condition,
however any damage due to customer negligence or mishandling of the
product voids this warranty.
SHIPPING
For orders shipped within the U.S.A. your total will determine the cost of shipping and handling. This will be calculated automatically in the check out process.

You will also have the option of selecting additional shipping options such as U.S. Registered Mail,
UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air.
For orders outside the U.S. Shipping and handling will be calculated automatically, all you
have to do is select which country.
We ship to the following countries outside the United States only: Japan.
